Centric P1+ Review : Powerful Battery Beast

There are so many features we were looking on the smartphones before buying.  But the most difficult is to find all these features in the low budget devices. In recent, Priyanka communication launched budget device Centric P1+ for Rs. 8,990. The handset comes with power-packed features and we got the chance to review the device. Let’s check out is the device really worth the price

Before getting into the in depth review just check out the key features of the handset.

In-the Box

Centric P1+ come with normal packinging​ with the no. of accessories inside. Along with the device there is battery, warranty card, user manual, USB Adapter and Micro USB cable data. The box also includes Earphone, back cover and Tempered glass for protection. The plastic back cover comes handy as device doesn’t slips of the hand.


Design and Display

Centric P1+ comes with 5-inch HD display with Dragon glass. The design of the device is what makes it unique. The handset is designed with premium matt plastic with metal finish. The device measures 143.5*72*9.63mm and weighs just 165gm which is not so heavy for big battery smartphone.

There is power and volume button on right side. The earphone jack and USB port is on top and bottom of the device respectively. The speakers are on the back so you will have to listen the songs while placing it on plane surface.



Centric P1+ is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core cortex A53 coupled with 3GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage with MicroSD card support upto 128GB. As there is separate SD card slot you can use dual sim along with SD card at the same time. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and gives pure android experience.

The smartphone multitask smoothly and handle the heavy applications pretty well. The games like Asphalt 8, FIFA and Dead trigger runs without any lagging. The CPU utilisation and RAM management is quite impressive. Talking about technical, the device scores 27499 on AnTuTu Benchmark.



The P1+ sports 8MP rear and 2MP front camera. Both camera is supported by LED flash. Though rear camera takes average images on outdoor conditions, it lacks some details in night conditions. The front camera comes with the beauty mode which takes two photos, one with beauty on and one with beauty off.

The front camera flash really comes to rescue while capturing moments on low light. The front camera​ is perfect for video chatting.


Battery and Connectivity

The centric P1+ is backed by huge 3950 mAh batery. The battery gives more than 2 days backup while even heavy gaming and movie usage can give more than 1 day of backup. Battery performance is the key for P1+. The device requires more than 2 hours for full charging.

For Connectivity Centric P1+ supports dual-SIM 4G-VoLTE network that means you can use Reliance JIO and enjoy the 4G netword speed. The other connectivity options includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and other standard sensors.


Final Verdict

For price tag of Rs. 8,990 Centric P1+ is really a decent smartphone. If you are a heavy internet user or gamer who also loves to use the 4G network then this is the perfect choice for you. The device also houses 3GB RAM which is also a boost for a low budget device. The design surely gives a premium look to the device.
