The add to the list is the new Indian smartphone company, Priyanka communication, which has already launched the bunch of smartphones in India. The company recently launched the CENTRiC L3 smartphone to fight with the likes of Redmi smartphones.
We reviewed the CENTRiC A1 last month and this time we get the chance to review the L3. The device packs some good features for the low budget smartphone, but will it compete with the Redmi smartphone?
CENTRiC L3 Review
In the Box
CENTRiC L3 comes in similar packaging like the CENTRiC A1. In the box, you will get a standard charger, USB cable and Earphone. The back cover is also included in the box so you don’t need to worry about finding one online. There are a warrant card and user manual for the beginner.
CENTRiC L3 comes with 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass. The side bezels are very narrow and the edges are round. The device is slim and doesn’t feel heavy. The back panel is removable, but the battery is not. The rear panel comes with metal like glossy finish which is quite impressive. On top, there is a USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack. The speakers are placed at the bottom so that you can enjoy the music even placing the phone on the flat surface. At the front, you get a fingerprint scanner.
The overall design of the CENTRiC L3 is eye-catching.
CENTRiC L3 is powered by the 64-bit Quad-core processor which performs well for multitasking. Though the device comes with 2GB RAM you may find little lag in the high-end graphics games. The other applications run smoothly. The smartphone has inbuilt 16GB memory which is expandable via dedicated MicroSD card slot upto 256GB. The L3 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The CENTRiC L3 sports 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera. The only need for improvement is in the camera department. The picture was taken good but lacks in the sharpness. The pictures in the low light were comparatively good. The front camera captures decent selfies. The camera comes with different modes like beautification, panorama & HDR. The videos taken were justifying the camera and it can shoot 720p videos.
Battery and connectivity
CENTRiC L3 is backed by 3050mAh battery which is common for many devices. The battery easily lasts a day with a normal Internet usage and games. Though the back panel is removable, the battery is non-removable. The L3 support dual sim 4G network. There is the fingerprint scanner on the front home button which is quite tricky to unlock the device. The other connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth and standard sensors.
CENTRiC L3 is priced at Rs.6,999 which is the similar price to redmi 5 smartphone.Though the Redmi device lack in the fingerprint sensor. The challenge for the L3 is to compete with the leading smartphone brand in India. The device is worth the price tag and best alternative to the Redmi 5. if you believe in buying Indian brand smartphone then CENTRiC L3 is the device you should buy.
