Written by Abhishek Pawar

With the rapid development in the technology world, the progress in the Audio equipment field is not far behind as well. Today in the trend of balanced armature earphones, Brainwavz Audio also introduced B100 and B150 balanced armature earphones in India. We got the hold of Brainwavz B100 and tested for almost two weeks. Here’s the thought on the pair.

brainwavz B100

Brainwavz B100 is over the ear type eaphone with the ergonomic design. The first thought come to my mind is the comfort level, and i was very much surprised with comfortable fit of the pair. I have reviewed couple of over the ear type earphones but i must say that these are the most comfortable pair. The other design and build quality is just like other Brainwavz products, superb. The 3.5 mm jack is not completely L- shaped, more it is like inclined.

The OFC copper Y-cord cable is little thick than other pairs. In the box, there is shirt clip, different size eartips along with the comply foam eartips. Overall the design of the B100 is very good.

There is no doubt that the previous earphones from Brainwavz fulfils all the requirements for audiophiles in their respective types, And this one is not an exception. The Brainwavz B100 is the Perfectly balanced armature earphone. All the different sound pitches were clearly audible. There is no extra bass, so you can enjoy the original sound quality of the song. Though if you love bass songs then you may find it little disappointed.

Listning to the Cheap thrills and the Battle cry by imagine dragons was totally a treat. As there is only single balanced armature still it produces a clear and descent sound.

Final Verdict

Brainwavz B100 is available on Amazon and for Rs. 4199. There is also a high end B150 for Rs. 7499. B100 is no doubt a ultimate trear for the audiophile. As the entry level balanced armature earphone the pair justifies the price tag. If you are looking for the pair which produces the balanced sound quality you are looking at the ultimate product but if you want the extra bass then you should go for something different.
