Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 launched in Android and Windows Variants

Xiaomi launched its next tablet device Mi pad 2 on Tuesday at Beijing. The new tablet will be available in both Android and Windows variant. The new tablet is totally build by metal body.

Android variant again comes in two different built in storage variant i.e. 16 GB and 64 GB. While 64 GB variant will be available in 64 GB. Looking at the price of the devices Android 16GB variant is priced at CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,300) while 64GB variant is priced at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs. 13,500). The newly introduced windows 10 64GB tablet will be priced at as same as the 64 GB Android variant.

Coming to the specification of the device 7.9 inch Mi Pad 2 features 2048 × 1536 resolution display with 326 PPI. Device is powered by new Intel ® Atom ™ X5-Z8500 64-bit quad-core processor coupled with Intel HD GPU and 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

Mi Pad 2 Sports 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. For connectivity it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v4.1, and GPS connectivity. The device is backed by 6190mAh battery with 12 hours video playback.

Mi note 2 comes in Dark Grey and Champagne Gold colour variants. ALong with the Mi note 2 Xiaomi also unveiled the new Redmi note 3 with fingerprint sensor.
