Xiaomi launched the upgraded version of the Redmi 3 device in China dubbed as Redmi 3 Pro. The smartphone features better and improved specifications. The smartphone is priced at RMB 899(approximately Rs. 9,249) and will go on sale starting April 4.
Redmi 3 was launched earlier this year at the price tag of RMB 699 (approximately Rs. 7000). The Redmi 3 Pro comes with the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage instead of the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage of Redmi 3. Pro device also added fingerprint sensor on back. Other specifications of the device remains same as the old variant.
Looking back at the specifications, Redmi 3 Pro also features 5-inch HD display. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 616 chipset clocked upto 1.5 GHz. Device comes with metal body design and fingerprint support at back. Handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Storage of the phone can be increased via MicroSD card upto 128GB.
As like Redmi 3, Pro variant also sports 13MP rear camera with flash and the 5MP selfie snapper. It is backed by 4000 mAh battery. Dual-sim supported Redmi 3 Pro offers Connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0. Redmi 3 Pro will be available in Silver, Dark grey and Gold cold options.
Recently Xiaomi announced the Mi Fan festival which starts from the April 4.
