China’s leading smartphone maker company, Xiaomi is all set to launch another big smartphone in India. Xiaomi Global Vice President Hugo Barra tweeted about the launch of Xiaomi Mi Max in India. The launch will be held on 30th June. The smartphone perfectly fits into the the category of budget device with larger screen.
Xiaomi Mi Max, company’s largest smartphone till date was launch a month ago in China. Handset features larger 6.44 inch display with ultra thin Metal body. Company launched 3 different variants of smartphone differing by RAM and Processor. The basic variant is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory and powered by Snapdragon 650 processor. The other one is powered by Snapdragon 652 processor and coupled with 3GB and 64GB built-in memory. The higher among them comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi Max sports 16MP PDAF rear camera with dual-LED flash and also have 5MP front camera with 85-degree wide angle lens. In addition there is fingerprint sensor and infrared sensor. The smartphone have hybrid Dual-SIM slot which gives user extra edge for those who runs out of memory. Handset runs on MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow.
As the name suggests ‘Max’, Device is provided with whooping 4850 mAh super large battery which can last long more than a day with heavy internet usage. For Connectivity Xiaomi Mi Max comes with Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G and other standard connectivity options. The Device was launch in three color options: Gold, Silver and Dark Grey.
Customer can buy 3GB/32GB variant for RMB 1499 ( approximately Rs.15,000) while the 3GB/64GB variant will cost at RMB 1699 (approximately Rs.17,000). The high end 4GB RAM variant was launch at RMB 1999 (approximately Rs.20,000).
