Samsung to launch Dual-sim variant of Galaxy Note 5 in India tomorrow. 32 GB Variant will cost you Rs. 51,400 while 64GB vairant wiill be priced at Rs. 57,400.
“In the high-end segment, we saw a very strong trend of people using dual-SIMs in our A series smartphones. Consumers want a premium device, which has a local SIM and space for another SIM,” said Manu Sharma, director-product marketing at Samsung India.
Company is also planning to extend the Dual-sim strategic to it’s other Flagship device including Galaxy Edge and Galaxy Edge Plus.
“There is a very large market that uses dual-SIM from the Rs 15,000-30,000 products categories, and the attach rate is very high. So, we expect a lot of takers in the premium segment,” Manu Sharma said.
Samsung also claimed that they have gained maximum market share in the last three months.
Just rewinding back, Galaxy Note 5 features 5.7-inch Quad HD display, 16 MP OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) rear and 5 MP front camera. Smartphone is powered by octa-core(Quad 2.1 GHz + Quad 1.5 GHz) processor coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. It is backed by 3,000 mAh Battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
