2015 established, Ringing bell will launch India’s cheapest smartphone, Freedom 251 for the cost of Rs. 500. The smartphone will be launch on February 17 by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikkar.
Ringing Bell also launched the India’s cheapest 4G smartphone dubbed as Smart 101 at Rs 2,999. Apart from this company also released the Bell Master and Bell 4U under Rs. 1000. Company said that the Freedom 251 launch is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for “empowering India to the last person, transforming India’s growth story”.
Currently in Indian market the low budget smartphones are around Rs. 1,500. Last year, DataWind in collaboration with Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Communications (RCOM) launch the world’s most affordable smartphone at Rs 999. Though after launch the smartphone has yet not hit the shelves.
According to the report this month, India is the largest smartphone market in world after China. And the Country already in the speed with growing global market through Make in India initiative.
