Nokia 8 With 13MP Dual Rear Camera launched

HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, today announced the Nokia 8, a high performance, beautifully crafted smartphone, designed with content creators in mind. The device will be available at a globally from September for price tag of €599(Approx. 45,000).

Nokia 8 comes with the most advanced aluminium unibody design with polished mirror finish. It is 7.9mm thin and weigh just 160gm. The device features 5.3-inch IPS QHD(2560 x 1440) display with 2.5D Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 protection. It is powered by latest Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor clocked upto 2.5GHz. Nokia 8 is equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with MicroSD card support upto 256GB.

The highlight of the device is Dual rear camera. Nokia 8 sports 13 MP dual-rear camera. The rear camera comes with PDAF, IR range finder and dual tone flash. There is also a wide-angle 13MP phase detection auto-focus front camera. Both cameras are equipped with ZEISS optics. The device is splashproof with IP54 certification.

The Nokia 8 is world’s first smartphone to broadcast live with both rear and front cameras simultaneously. It is also the first smartphone to feature Nokia OZO Audio which can record 4K video with Nokia OZO spatial 360° audio. The smartphone runs on pure Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.

Nokia 8 comes with Dual-SIM hybrid card slot which supports 4G LTE network. The device is backed by 3090 mAh battery with USB type C port and QuickCharge support. The other standard connectivity options and sensors are also included.

Device will be available in four colors: Polished Blue, Polished Copper, Tempered Blue and Steel.
