The smartphone everyone is waiting for is finally launched. One of the top mobile manufacturing company of last decade , Nokia, launched its first Android smartphone in China, Nokia 6.
There were numerous rumors about the smartphone from last 2 months. HMD Global, who secure the exclusive Nokia brand licensing rights in mobile phones announced the launch. Arto Nummela, CEO, HMD Global said: “Just a short while ago we announced the launch of HMD Global. From the outset we have stated that we intend to move with speed to establish a position as a player in the smartphone category and create products that truly meet consumer needs. The Nokia 6 is a result of listening to our consumers who desire a beautifully crafted handset with exceptional durability, entertainment and display features.
Our ambition is to deliver a premium product, which meets consumer needs at every price point, in every market. We start today, with our premium, high quality Nokia 6; built to deliver a fantastic core user experience for Chinese consumers. We look forward to unveiling further products in the first half of this year.”
The Nokia 6 features 5.5-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with 2.5D curve glass protected by Corning Gorilla glass. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM. Smartphone comes with 64GB of internal storage with 128GB MicroSD card support.
Nokia 6 sports awesome 16 MP rear camera PDAF camera with 1um sensor and f/2 aperture. The rear camera also features real tone LED flash. The 8 MP front camera comes with f/2 aperture. One of the highlight of the Nokia 6 is 6dB Dolby Atmos speakers. There is fingerprint sensor at the front home physical button.
Nokia 6 is backed by 3000 mAh battery with a massive 32 days standby time. Device runs on latest Android Nougat OS and Android Doze technology to give efficient battery management.
Nokia 6 will be exclusively through JD.com in early 2017 in China for 1699 CNY.
