The Durable and rugged smartphone maker company, CAT, announced another great and unique smartphone. This time company launched CAT S60 smartphone, world’s first with Built-in Thermal camera. The handset will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress and will be available later this year at RRP €649 (approximately $599).

We are excited for thermal technology to be in the hands of Cat phones customers and to discover the myriad of daily time and efficiency use cases it will present for them.”
Also CAT S60 will be the first waterproof smartphone with rating to a depth of 5 meters for up to an hour. Smartphone is able to measure the temperature of objects from 15m-30m (50ft-100ft) away and can even see through smoke. This feature will be very useful for building professionals, utility workers, outdoor sports enthusiasts, and emergency first responders to see through the smokes.
The most important feature of the device is embedded thermal camera from FLIR. This feature can be used for detecting heat loss around windows and doors; spotting moisture and missing insulation; identifying over-heating electrical appliances and circuitry; and seeing in complete darkness.
The smartphone is tough and robust and can withstand drops onto concrete from up to 1.8 meters. The other specifications of the smartphone includes, 4.7-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and auto wet finger & glove support. It is powered by Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. CAT S60 includes 32GB internal storage.
Cat S60 sports 13 MP rear camera with dual LED flash. It also equipped with 5 MP front shooter. Handset runs on Android Marshmallow operating system and backed by 3800 mAh battery. For connectivity smartphone comes with 4G LTE support.
