Brainwavz M1 review : Classy and light as feather

Written by Abhishek Pawar

IEM earphones are the new trends now. We have reviewed few of them. Now we have the Brainwavz Newly launched M1 IEM earphones with us. We used them for two weeks and we feel them as pretty cool. But the price justify them? Here is the Brainwavz M1 review that will tell all about the earphones whether you should go for them or not.

Design

Brainwavz M1

We must that the design of all Brainwavz Earphones we reviewed till date are classy and the M1 is not an exception. The metal body design adds more value to its design. One of the best thing we have seen is the cable that is used in the pair. The high quality silver oxygen based cable are durable as well as lightweight. Comparing with the other earphones we truly loved the cabling as it is lightweight and strong enough. While using 2-3 times the cable was stretched and it didn’t affect the cords at all.

But there is something we feel is missing from the pair. Brainwavz M1 doesn’t come with the mic audio calls. So you can’t take calls while listening to the music. That’s where the company should look upon next time. In the box you will get set of Comply foam tips, set of Silicone Bi-Flange Tips along with 6 sets of different size of Silicone Ear Tips.

Performance

In the performance department Brainwavz M1 surely make your every penny worth. Sensitivity of the earphone is 110 dB at 1 mW which is good. The M1 have a wide sound stage boasting which will maximise the audio performance. With Every genre of the music you will definitely going to love the sound output, and you can surely can trust on that.

Now coming to the Noise isolation, The Brainwavz M1 makes the impact. You can go with your music anywhere without hearing any noise from the outside world.

Final Verdict

Brainwavz M1 IEM earphones are truly awesome pairs for Rs.2,999. As the IEM earphones they are bit pricey, but if you are on low budget try the other alternatives. One factor that disappoint us is that the lack of mic on the earphones. As there are no mic, you can only enjoy the music. So if you want the pairs for audio calls and music you should go for the other member of the M-series, M5.
