Samsung Finally launched it’s VR device Gear VR in India Today. Samsung Gear VR is priced at Rs. 8,200 and will be sold through Flipkart and retails stores from Thursday.
Samsung also announced that the Gear VR supports all Galaxy series smartphones along with the recently launch Galaxy Note 5 Dual SIM. Gear VR features 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) Amoled display with 96-degree wide angle view and larger touchpad. It is 19% lighter compared to the previous model. Device is designed with the Foam Cushioning for comfortable experience. The device is powered by Oculus VR software.
VR device will support 360-degree videos,photos and oculus videos and games. It is equipped with Touchpad, Back key, Volume Key, Focus adjustment wheel and sensors like Accelerator, Gyrometer, Geomagnetic, Proximity. The device weighs 318g without Smartphone and measures 201.9×116.4×92.6 mm. The device can be charge via Micro-USB.

Along with the launch of VR device, Samsung also launched Gear S2 and the Gear S2 Classic wearables. Gear S2 is priced at Rs. 24,300, while Classic version will cost Rs. 25,800.
