Meizu announce the Ubuntu edition of Meizu Pro 5 smartphone in partnership with Canonical. The smartphone will be the Highest specification Ubuntu phone. It will be showcase during the MWC event and pre-order of the device will also start at the same time. Though company has yet not announced the price of the device.

Meizu Pro 5 features 5.7-inch Full HD(1920×1080) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Samsung Exynos 7420 Octa-core processor and MALI T760 GPU. The Device comes with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM coupled with 32GB of internal memory.
Meizu Pro 5 sports 21.16 megapixel rear-facing camera with PDAF phase laser-assisted focusing. Rear camera also features LARGAN 6P lenses for improved resolution. For selfies smartphone has 5 megapixel front-facing camera. The Dual-sim Meizu Pro 5 comes with great Hi-Fi sound system.
Meizu already launched MX4 Ubuntu edition smartphone last year. Now with the launch of Meizu Pro 5, Canonical has launched 5 device in last one year.
