Xiaomi India today announced it’s recently launched smartphone, Redmi Note 3 will be coming to India. Company has not specified the date for the launch of smartphone.
Yesterday Xiaomi teased about “something wonderful is about to happen” and as promised it announced today. Redmi Note 3 was launched in November last year in China at price of CNY 899(approximately Rs.9,500) for 2GB RAM and CNY 1099(approximately Rs.11,500) for 3GB RAM.
Company also announced the The Redmi Note 3 Explorer Challenge where 100 chosen Mi fans will get to first hands-on the Redmi Note 3. The explorer will be given 100 missions to complete. Along with this one who suggest challenge will get chance to win Mi Band.
Redmi Note 3 features 5.5-inch Full HD luminous 1080p display with 403 PPI pixel density. It is powered by Helio X10 64-bit octa-core processor combined with 2GB/3GB RAM. Smartphone comes with 16GB/32GB internal memory. Redmi Note 3 runs on MIUI 7 version. The smartphone is designed with full metal body.
Highlighted feature of smartphone is fingerprint sensor which company claims to unlocks device in just 0.3s. Redmi note 3 sports 13 MP rear camera with DUAL-tone LED flash. Rear camera comes with the focus speed to 0.1 seconds allowing you faster Capture screen. Camera also supports 1080p video recording and slow motion video recording. Device is also equipped with 5 MP front facing camera.
The smartphone is backed by whooping 4000mAh Battery. Device supports dual Micro-sim card. It will be the first device running on a MediaTek processor to launch in India after Ericsson patient infringement in 2014. Xiaomi signed a patent licensing agreement with Qualcomm last month. Due to this Xiaomi finally launching the smartphone in India.
