Months after announcing the India launch of the smartphone, Xiaomi finally the Redmi note 3 in India last week. Smartphone packs pretty great specifications for the price tag that company is offering.
The smartphone was launched back couple of months ago in China . Let’s take a look at the overview of the smartphone and see what Xiaomi has bought for Indian fans. Though on paper the specifications of the smartphone will definetly catch the eye of the smartphone buyers.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is designed with metal body in premium finish. Aluminium frame gives comfortable grip in the hands. There is fingerprint sensor on the back, which is company’s first smartphone to feature the fingerprint scanner. Even with the huge battery and metal body the Redmi Note 3 weigh just 164g.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with 5.5-inch (1920×1080) FullHD IPS display with 401 PPI pixel density. As other latest smartphone from Xiaomi, it also features Sunlight display with 178-degree viewing angle. Nightmode and reading mode is also included.
This time Xiaomi has done something different. Xiaomi has offered 2 different memory options for users. Redmi Note 3 comes with 16GB built-in memory with 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage with 3GB RAM. Users wanting more memory will be also braced with increased RAM. The dual-Channel DDR3 RAM will increases the multitasking speed.
Processor & Battery
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is powered by 64-bit hexa-core Qualcomm snapdragon 650 processor clocked upto 1.8 GHz. It is coupled with ARM’s Cortex A-72 and Adreno 510 GPU. The fingerprint sensor on back can unlock the device in 0.3s. The Redmi Note 3 is backed by huge 4050 mAh battery which can deliver upto 22 days standby time.
One of the most highlighted feature of the smartphone is camera. It sports 16 MP rear camera with two-toned flash. The camera comes with PDAF technology with 0.1s ultra focus. The 5 MP selfie camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and face recognition technology. Xiaomi also included beautification with 36 smart beauty profiles. Camera is capable of recording 1080p videos.
For connectivity Redmi Note 3 offers Bluetooth 4.1, Bluetooth HD, WiFi 802.11 ac. It also includes compass, Gravity, Light, Gyroscope, proximity and GPS sensors.
The Redmi Note 3 will be available on Amazon and Mi.com at 2 PM on 9 March. The registration for the same is now open. It will be available in Gold, Grey and silver color option.The 2GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 9,999, while for 3GB RAM variant you have to pay Rs.2000 more.
