Today, Xiaomi officially launched Redmi 3 smartphone in China. Redmi 3 will be priced at CNY 699(approximately Rs. 7,000). The company has not specified the availability of the smartphone. Xiaomi Redmi 3 features 5 inch HD(1280×720) display. The smartphone is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and 1.2GHz processor and Adreno 405 coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM. Handset comes with 16 GB internal storage which can be expandable via Micro-SD card upto 128GB.
The highlighted feature of the smartphone is it’s unique Metal body with diamond patterned frame which weighs only 144g and 8.5mm thin. Redmi 3 sports 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. Smartphone also features 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. Both cameras are capable of recording 1080p videos.
