China’s leading smartphone manufacturing company, Xiaomi, unveiled the new phablet device in China dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Max. The device would be perfectly fit in the description for those who are seeking for budget device with larger screen.
Xiaomi Mi Max comes with larger 6.44 inch display with ultra thin Metal body. The device comes with three different variant by processor and RAM. The cheaper variant comes with 3GB RAM along with 32GB internal memory and Snapdragon 650 processor. The other one is powered by Snapdragon 652 processor and coupled with 3GB and 64GB built-in memory. The higher end variant comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Handset runs on the latest MIUI 8 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Xiaomi Mi Max sports 16MP PDAF rear camera with dual-LED flash. Handset also have 5MP selfie camera with 85-degree wide angle lens. The device is provided with fingerprint sensor and infrared sensor. The smartphone have hybrid Dual-SIM slot which gives user extra edge to add more memory.
Xiaomi Mi Max comes with the connectivity options like Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G and other standard connectivity options. One of the major highlight of the device is the battery. The smartphone is backed by 4850 mAh super large battery which can last long more than a day with heavy internet use. The handset comes with three color options: Gold, Silver and Dark Grey.
Coming to the pricing of the device, the 3GB/32GB variant is priced at RMB 1499 ( approximately $230) while the 3GB/64GB variant will cost RMB 1699 (approximately $260). The high end 4GB RAM variant is priced at RMB 1999 (approximately $300).
