Samsung to give Gear VR with Every Galaxy S7 pre-order

As the launch date of Samsung’s Latest Flagship device, Galaxy S7 , a rumour says that the company will give Gear VR free with the pre-order of the smartphone. The smartphone will be launched on 21 February in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress event 2016.

A report by Android World suggest that the pre-order of the Galaxy S7 will start from the day of the launch itself. And shipment of the smartphone will start from March 11. The pre-order offer will be valid between February 21 to March 11.

In the teaser video last month we thought the company will launch something related to VR along with the smartphone. But now we can say that the point of showing VR is that the Samsung is set to give free Gear VR with Galaxy S7 .

Recollecting the specifications of the smartphone according to the rumours, Galaxy S7 features 5.1 inch super AMOLED display and 4GB RAM. Smartphone will either powered by Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 processor. Handset sports 20 MP rear camera along with 8 MP front-Facing camera.

From last year VR has catch eyes of many companies. Also according to Rory O’Neill, Vice President Brand & Product Manager of Samsung Electronics, Samsung is also keen on getting a piece of the growing VR market, and most of the VR content will be in fact produced by the consumers.

Android world also revealed that the Galaxy S7 will be price at  €699 while S7 Edge will cost €799. It’s worth to wait till the company confirms the news. Stay tuned with us for MWC event.
