A one of the leading smartphone maker company, Samsung announced their newly launched flagship devices in India. Today Samsung launched Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphone in Indian market. The Galaxy S7 will cost Rs. 48,900, while the S7 Edge will be priced at Rs. 56,900.
Both devices were launched during MWC 2016 event in Barcelona last month. The features of the has already made the seats in many smartphone buyers mind and company will definitely get the better response from Indian crowd as well. In India Samsung has more market place compare to other leading device maker companies.
Quickly recalling, Galaxy S7 features 5.1-inch while S7 Edge features slightly bigger 5.5-inch QuadHD display with always On Display function. It is powered by 64-bit Exynos 8890 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM. The variant launching in India will be of Dual Sim and having 32GB built-in memory storage. Both devices runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge sports 12 MP rear camera with dual pixel technology. It also comes with 5 MP front shooter. S7 is backed by 3000 mAh battery and the big brother is backed by 3600 mAh battery. For connectivity both smartphone features WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC and Fingerprint sensor. Smartphones are certified with IP68 rating which makes it waterproof and dust proof.
Pre-booking of the device will be till March 17 and everyone who will pre-book the device will get GearVR for free.
