OnePlus X launched at Rs.16,999

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer company OnePlus has launched its third smartphone named OnePlus X. The smartphone comes with the price tag lower than its first two ‘flagship killer’ smartphones.

The smartphone will be available in Onyx variant at Rs. 16,999 and the limited edition Ceramic variant at Rs. 22,999. Onyx variant will be made available from November 5 while Ceramic variant will be available from November 24. The smartphone will be made available via invite system only on Amazon India. Though company has promised to held hourly open sale for OnePlus X every week in December.

The smartphone features 5.0 inch Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 with 1080p Full HD display and  441 PPI resolution. The dual sim phone is powered by Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 801 processor with 2.3 GHz Quad-core CPUs and Qualcomm® AdrenoTM 330 GPU paired with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. OnePlus X comes with 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 128 GB by micro SD card.

The smartphone runs on OxygenOS based on Android 5.1.1 and comes with Alert Slider and Capacitive / On-screen buttons. Onepplus X sports 13 MP primary camera with flash and 8 MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture. It can also record 1080p resolution video and Slow Motion 720p video at 120fps.

OnePlus X is backed by 2,525 mAh LiPo battery. Connectivity options include support for Indian 4G LTE bands, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, and Micro-USB. OnePlus also introduced the cases for OnePlus X which will be available in Rosewood, Black Apricot, Bamboo, Karbon,silicone and Sandstone. Apart from OnePlus X company also launched its earphone OnePlus Icons.
