[update] The OnePlus 5 will be available in India on Amazon India and OnePlus store. The Slate Gray(6GB+64GB) variant will cost Rs. 32,999 while the higher midnight Black(8GB+128GB) variant will be available for Rs.37,999.

After lots of rumors and leaks one of the leading smartphone giant, OnePlus announced their latest flasgship device, OnePlus 5. The smartphone is priced at $479 in US and €499 in Europe. OnePlus 5 Design

The OnePlus 5 is equipped with  5.5-inches FHD(1920 x 1080) Optic AMOLED display with 401ppi pixel density. It is protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 glass. The display comes with various The device is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor clocked upto 2.45GHz coupled with Adreno 540 GPU for great graphics. The device will be available in 2 RAM variant. 6GB RAM variant will come with 64GB internal storage while the 8GB variant will have 128GB inbuilt memory.

The focusing area of the OnePlus 5 is the rear dual camera setup. OnePlus 5 comes with 16MP Wide-angle Sony IMX 398 Sensor with f/1.7 aperture coupled with 20MP Telephoto Sony IMX 350 Sensor with f/2.6 aperture. The rear camera comes with Dual-LED flash and can record 4K video at 30fps. The camera features various modes including Portrait, Pro Mode, Panorama, HDR, HQ, Dynamic Denoise, Clear Image, RAW Image. The front shooter is of 16MP with f/2.0 aperture.

OnePlus 5 runs on Android Nougat with OxygenOS on top of it. The OxygenOS comes with the features like Reading mode and Gaming DND mode. Smartphone is backed by 3300 mAh non-removable battery with dash charging support. The device have USB type-C port and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

For connectivity the device supports dual-SIM 4G VoLTE network. Surprisingly it supports 34 network bands across the globe. The physical home button also works as the fingerprint scanner. The other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS.

The device comes in Midnight Black (128GB) or Slate Gray (64GB) color variant. The smartphone is set to launch in India on June 22.
