Motorola announced the, Moto X Force launch in India. Company teased about the launch from its twitter handle. Yet the date and the price of the smartphone is not officially confirmed.
Moto X Force is the first smartphone with Motorola’s ShatterShield™ technology. Moto X Force is the international variant of Droid Turbo 2 which was launched in October last year. The smartphone comes with the Shatterproof display that can absorb shock from impact and are proven not to crack or shatter.
Moto X Force comes with a display that is made of an aluminium rigid core, flexible Amoled screen, and dual-layer touchscreen panels (redundancy in case one goes bad). Smartphone comes with water-repellent nano-coating.
Looking at the features, Smartphone is equipped with 5.4-inch QHD (1440×2560) display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz coupled with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM. Smartphone comes in 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options. The storage is expandable upto 2TB via a microSD card.
Moto X Force sports 21-megapixel rear-camera with an f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. Smartphone also features a 5-megapixel front camera with flash and an f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
A single SIM 4G Moto X Force is backed by 3760 mAh battery with quick charging function. For connectivity smartphone offers Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth and other standard connectivity options.
At the global launch Moto X Force was priced at GBP 499 (roughly Rs. 49,900) for the 32GB variant, and a GBP 534 (roughly Rs. 53,400) for the 64GB variant.
