Today, Lenovo Moto launched the successor of the Moto G3, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. The devices will be available exclusively on Amazon.in. These are the first devices after Lenovo rebrands the Motorola to Moto.
The Moto G4 Plus will be available to buy from midnight. Both smartphones will be available in Black and White color variants.
Moto G4 Plus
Moto G4 Plus features bigger 5.5-inch FullHD (1920×1080) display with 401 ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The design of the device is similar to the predecessors with rounded edges and Micro-textured back. The handset is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5GHz clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU. The Moto G4 Plus comes with 2 different memory variants.
The 2GB RAM variant comes with 16GB internal storage while 3GB RAM model comes with 32GB inbuilt storage. There is also a MicroSD card support which can expand the memory upto 128GB.
Moto G4 Plus sports 16MP rear camera with laser auto focus and PDAF. There is also dual LED flash on the back. The camera comes with Omni Vision PureCel Plus sensor and f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone also comes with 5MP selfie camera with wide angle lens. The device runs on latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Moto G4 Plus is backed by 3000 mAh battery and comes with Turbo charging feature. 15 min of charging can deliver 6 hrs of performance. The handset supports Dual-SIM VoLTE connectivity.
The company has also introduced two new features, Pick to stop ringing and Flip to Do Not Disturbed. Home button also have features Fingerprint scanner which unlocks in less than 750 milliseconds.
The pricing of devices are the highlight of the launch. The 2GB variant will be available at Rs. 13,499 while 3GB will be available at Rs.14,499.
Company also announced the offers with the Moto G4 Plus. Users will get Rs. 15000 worth GoCash from Goibibo along with Kindle ebook’s worth Rs. 1000. While some users will get 100% cash back and a chance to win Moto360.
Moto G4 features similar features as the G4 Plus apart from the camera and the RAM. Also users will miss the fingerprint scanner in G4.
Moto G4 comes with 2GB RAM and the memory options of 16GB and 32GB. Though the memory is expandable upto 128GB via MicroSD card. Device sports 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.
Company has not announced the pricing of the device and it will be launch next month.
