At the CES event in Las Vegas, Honor launched another smartphone with dual-rear camera setup dubbed as Honor 6X. The smartphone was first introduced in China last year and was not available globally. At CES event Company gives details about its global expansion. The first flash sale will be on Jan 4 in EU and USA.
The device comes with a metallic body and 2.5D curved glass. Honor 6x features 5.5-inch FHD (1920p x 1080) IPS display with 401ppi pixel density. It is powered by Kirin 655 octa-core processor clocked upto 2.1GHz. Device comes in two different variants : 3GB RAM and 32GB storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB memory. Though currently only the 3GB RAM version is available to buy.
The Dual-camera setup at back of Honor 6x is 12MP + 2MP. It comes with the wide aperture range of (F/0.95-F/16) with PDAF fast autofocus. 8MP front shooter can capture beautiful selfies. The camera also have the features like Light painting, Splash and Pro photo. Handset runs on EMUI 4.1.
For connectivity Honor 6x supports Wifi 802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 4.1 and other standard options. Device also have fingerprint sensor at the back. It is backed by 3300 mAh battery which can deliver upto 2.5 days of normal usage. The handset will be available in Gray, Gold, and Silver color options.
The 3GB/32GB model will cost $249 while the 4GB/64GB model will be available for $299. Cutomers can save $50 if they sign up for the first flash sale. First 300 buyers will also get assesories including earphone, back case and selfie stick.
The smartphone will be first launched in the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, the Czech Republic, India, Russia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
