French multinational company Archos launched new smartphone under its Oxygen line up, Archos 50d Oxygen. The smartphone is priced at £129 and will go on sale in May with SIM free and unlocked version. The smartphone will be showcased at MWC event in Barcelona.
The Archos 50d Oxygen is the successor of 50c Oxygen which was launched two years ago. Well, the successor comes with some improvement than it’s predecessor like RAM,camera and processor.
Archos 50d Oxygen features 5-inch HD(1280×720 pixel) IPS display and comes in deep black body with hold metal contour. It is powered by Octa-core MediaTek’s MT6753 chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with 2 GB RAM. Smartphone has built-in 16GB storage and MicroSD card support upto 32GB.
Archos 50d Oxygen comes with 13 MP rear shooter with LED flash and 5 MP front facing camera. Both cameras can record 1080p videos. Smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Device is backed by 2100 mAh removable battery.
Archos 50d Oxygen has dual sim 4G LTE support. Other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG support.
Archos launched 50c Oxygen smartphone in 2014. It features 5-inch display,powered by octa-core Mediatek MT6592 processor coupled with 1GB RAM and sports 8MP rear/2MP front facing camera.
