After launching the smartphones in China, Xiaomi launched its two new smartphones in India dubbed as Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime. Redmi 3S is priced at Rs. 6,999 and Redmi 3S Prime at Rs. 8,999 and will go on sale starting from Aug 9.
Redmi 3S features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) Display. It is powered by Snapdragon 430 Octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz clubbed with the Adreno 505 GPU. Device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The storage is expandable via MicroSD card upto 128 GB. It runs on MIUI 7.5 version.
Smartphone sports 13 MP rear camera with features such as flash, ultra fast focusing,PDAF technology, HDR mode, Panorama. Device is also equipped with 5 MP front shooter. Both cameras supports 1080p full HD video recording. Device is backed by 4100 mAh battery. It can last upto 2 days with moderate use without charging. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Device supports Dual-SIM with 4G Volte connectivity. The smartphone comes with connectivity options such as 802.11 b/g/n,Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/AGPS, GPRS/ EDGE. Device will be available in Dark Grey, Silver and Gold color options.
Redmi 3S Prime
All the features for Redmi 3S Prime are same as little brother except for the RAM and the storage. It comes with 3 GB RAM and houses 32 GB internal storage. The smartphone also comes with fingerprint sensor.
